Ida Lorenzo, a woman from Utah, entered into a plea deal on a misdemeanor sexual battery charge after a video went viral showing her allegedly pulling down a young woman’s skirt. The incident occurred in a St. George eatery, where Lorenzo confronted the woman for her revealing outfit. In the video, she can be heard threatening to call Child Protective Services. The young woman’s friends defended her, and Lorenzo ended up calling the police the next day, claiming she felt threatened by the video. The victim later reported feeling violated by Lorenzo’s actions. Lorenzo was initially charged with sexual battery, but the charge was reduced in a plea deal. Under the agreement, she must comply with certain terms, including not committing any crimes and undergoing a mental health evaluation. She was also terminated from her job at the Utah Attorney General’s Office. Lorenzo’s attorney stated that she declined to comment on the plea deal.
