The highly anticipated 2025 Bassmaster Classic Progressive Celebrity Pro-Am driven by Yokohama Tire is set to return, kicking off the festivities for the Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Classic in Fort Worth, Texas. The event will feature a star-studded field of celebrities, including NFL, NASCAR, WWE, and Olympic athletes, along with musicians, actors, and comedians, paired with professional anglers. The Pro-Am will take place on March 19 at Twin Points Park at Eagle Mountain Lake, with the weigh-in open to the public.
The event will also include an exclusive Celebrity Meet & Greet at Cavender’s Boot City in Fort Worth, as well as a special prime-time production that will stream for free on The Roku Channel on April 5. The Pro-Am celebrates the growing popularity of competitive fishing in pop culture and will showcase the teams of celebrities matched with some of the world’s best anglers.
Among the featured celebrities are social media influencer Hood Fishing Entertainment, Barstool Sports host Sydnie Wells, NFL players Jeffery Simmons and Ben Cleveland, Olympic gold medalist Ryan Crouser, NASCAR driver Ross Chastain, and WWE Superstars Bron Breakker and Tony D’Angelo, among others. The pairings for the event include top professional anglers such as Rick Clunn, Mike Iaconelli, Gerald Swindle, and Brandon Palaniuk.
