On Friday, Dobbins and Rink Secure Gold Medals


NM State Swimming and Diving shines at the 2025 WAC Championships, adding two more gold medals to their collection. Emily Dobbins and Katie Rink led the way with impressive individual victories in the 100 back and 200 free events, respectively. The team also secured three podium finishes, including Mira Tinani’s second-place showing in the platform dive. Throughout the day, the Aggies accumulated 160 points, solidifying their second-place position in the women’s team standings.

Head Coach Rick Pratt commended the team for their outstanding efforts and highlighted the need for resilience as the competition tightens heading into the final day. Saturday’s events will include the 1650 free, 200 back, 100 free, 200 breast, 200 fly, and 400 free relay. Fans can catch all the action live on ESPN+ starting at 5:00 p.m.
