The New Mexico State women’s tennis team is returning home this weekend for two exciting matches after concluding a road trip against Utah Tech and UNLV. The Aggies will kick off the weekend with the Battle of I-10 against rival UTEP on Friday, Feb. 28, followed by a match against UC Irvine on Saturday, Mar. 1.
In their last match against UNLV, NM State fell 4-0 after a strong start in doubles play. Despite a victory from Whitney Moon and Dora Kurda, UNLV managed to claim the doubles point and ultimately secure the win with three straight-set victories in singles play.
