Tennis enthusiasts in Los Angeles have reason to celebrate as Sunset Tennis Club announces the grand opening of its newest location in Tarzana. The club, founded by husband-and-wife team Anna and Kacper Owsian, has seen tremendous growth over the past few years, expanding from 30 members to 1000 players and from one clinic location to seven. Inspired by the retro tennis culture of the 70s and 80s, the Owsians have created a community-driven tennis-social club that offers a warm and inviting atmosphere for players of all skill levels.
Members of Sunset Tennis Club can participate in private lessons, weekly group clinics, and social events in partnership with lifestyle brands like Fila and Oliver Peoples. The club has also announced plans for further expansion, including events in Palm Springs and internationally, aligning with the ATP Masters Tour schedule. The club’s first venture beyond Los Angeles will be at the upcoming BNP Paribas Open Indian Wells tournament, where they will host clinics and exclusive social events for members.
Looking ahead to the summer, Sunset Tennis Club will be expanding to the East Coast, starting with the Hamptons. The club aims to offer its unique tennis experience to members who travel outside of Los Angeles, as well as to international audiences at prestigious tournaments like Wimbledon and Rolland Garros in France. With its continued growth and commitment to providing an authentic tennis culture experience, Sunset Tennis Club is poised to make a big impact in the tennis world.
