NM State Swim & Dive Team Clinches Best Single-Season Winning Percentage in Program History
Albuquerque, N.M. – The NM State Swim & Dive team secured its best single-season winning percentage in program history with a final regular-season record of 8-1 after a dominating victory in Albuquerque. The team took the crown in 11 out of 16 events, landing on 32 of the 48 possible podium spots.
Leading the way were Emily Dobbins and Dijana Mazumdar, each securing three first-place finishes. Mira Tinani also earned a win for the divers with a pool-best score in the 3m dive. The team showcased their strength with multiple 1-2-3-4 finishes in various events.
Head coach Rick Pratt commended the team for their high intensity and confidence, setting a solid foundation for the upcoming WAC Championships in Pharr, Texas later this month. The team will look to carry their momentum into the championship meet.
