Lathrop High School senior Oschaun Easaw has officially committed to playing football at Eastern New Mexico University. Easaw, a standout running back, led his team to a fifth-straight state title appearance in his final season. The signing ceremony took place at his high school, where he expressed his excitement about taking his talents to the next level. Easaw chose ENMU due to the small town feel of Portales, where the university is located, as well as the strong relationship he has with the coaching staff.
During his senior season, Easaw put up impressive numbers, including 2,039 rushing yards and 27 touchdowns. He attributed much of his success to his coaches, teammates, and linemen. Easaw will be joining a talented group of freshman running backs at ENMU, who are known for their run-heavy game plan. The upcoming season for the Greyhounds is set to begin in August or September, where Easaw hopes to continue his success on the college field.
