The NM State men’s tennis team put up a strong fight but ultimately fell to Weber State, 4-3, on the final day of the UNLV Quad. Despite impressive wins in singles play by Matias Rojas, Tobias Wallin, and Lance Urlaub, the Aggies narrowly missed out on two more victories. Doubles action did not go in their favor, with losses tipping the scales in Weber State’s favor.
With a 2-6 record for the spring season so far, the Aggies are looking ahead to a trio of matches in Lubbock next weekend. They will face Texas Tech, UTRGV, and Lubbock Christian in hopes of turning their season around.
