Emma Bunch, a junior from Lynge, Denmark, has been named to the 2024-25 ANNIKA Award presented by Stifel Fall Watch List, as announced by The Haskins Foundation. Bunch is the only member of the list who does not compete for a Power Four program, showcasing her exceptional talent as a golfer. She has already secured several top-10 finishes in the Aggies’ fall tournaments, including an individual title at the Golfweek Fall Challenge. Her impressive performance during the fall semester earned her three Conference USA Women’s Golfer of the Week honors.
Bunch’s average 18-hole score of 70.8 and standout play have garnered attention, including a tie with No. 15 Paula Martin Sampedro of Stanford. She will next compete in the Allie & John Wallace Classic hosted by Long Beach State University on Fab. 15.
The ANNIKA Award presented by Stifel, created in 2014, recognizes the top female Division 1 collegiate golfer annually. Voted on by players, coaches, and members of the college golf media, the award is named after golf legend Annika Sorenstam. Ingrid Lindblad (LSU) was the 2024 recipient of the award.
Bunch’s inclusion on the prestigious fall watch list highlights her ongoing success on the golf course and sets the stage for further accomplishments in her collegiate career. Follow NM State Women’s Golf on social media for updates on Bunch and the team’s future competitions.
