Texas A&M Loses Both Games in Doubleheader Against #6 Arizona

The New Mexico State University men’s tennis team faced a tough challenge as they kicked off their spring season with a doubleheader against the #6 ranked Arizona Wildcats at the LaNelle Robson Tennis Center. Unfortunately, the Aggies were unable to secure a victory in either match, falling 7-0 in both contests.

In the first match, senior Roko Stipetic put up a strong fight but ultimately fell to Arizona’s Filip Gustafsson in a competitive match. In the second match, Holland Snell also delivered a solid performance but was narrowly defeated by Arizona’s Glib Sekachov.

Despite the losses, the Aggies showed signs of improvement and will look to bounce back as they head to Tempe, Arizona to take on Arizona State before facing Grand Canyon and Marymount in the following days.
