Turtle Mountain Brewing Company Expands to Enchanted Hills in Rio Rancho
After more than two decades of serving New Mexicans in Rio Rancho, Turtle Mountain Brewing Company is expanding its operations to Enchanted Hills. The brewery, which had outgrown its previous location, is now doubling its capacity at the new site, allowing them to handle both restaurants and limited distribution. The new space will add 4,500 square feet for brewing beer and includes a large cold room for hop storage and tank cleaning. Despite delays caused by the pandemic, owner Nico Ortiz believes the expansion is worth the wait and is an investment back into the community of northern Rio Rancho. Residents in the area are excited about the new addition, with one resident mentioning how Enchanted Hills has become a destination for people looking for dining and shopping options. Turtle Mountain Brewing Company is aiming to have the new brewery up and running by their 26th anniversary in March, marking a new chapter in their long history of serving the community.
