An 8-year-old boy named Tinotenda Pudu went missing in a game park in northern Zimbabwe and was found alive after spending five days alone in the jungle. He wandered 23 kilometers away from home and survived by eating wild fruits and sleeping on a rocky perch amidst dangerous wild animals. The local community and rangers from Matusadona Africa Parks searched for the boy, with the rangers eventually finding him. The Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority confirmed the rescue, stating that the boy had wandered 49 kilometers through lion-infested terrain. The search operation was challenging due to heavy rain washing away footprints, but the boy was found in the Sakata Valley area of Matusadona National Park. He was taken to a hospital for medical evaluation, where he was found to be stable but awaiting a mental health assessment. The community expressed gratitude for the boy’s safe return and credited unity, hope, prayer, and perseverance for the miracle. The boy’s survival is seen as a testament to the power of never giving up and the importance of faith.
