Managing Low Snowfall: Ski Santa Fe’s Strategy – KRQE News 13

Ski Santa Fe is facing challenges this season due to low snowfall, but they are implementing strategies to keep visitors coming to the slopes. With only 28 inches of snowfall so far this season, compared to the average of 113 inches by this time, the ski resort has had to adjust its operations.

To compensate for the lack of natural snow, Ski Santa Fe has invested in snowmaking equipment, covering 50% of the mountain with man-made snow. They have also opened their tubing area earlier than usual to provide alternative activities for visitors.

Despite the challenges, Ski Santa Fe remains optimistic about the rest of the season. They are offering discounted lift tickets and season passes to attract more customers and are actively promoting their snowmaking capabilities to reassure visitors that there will still be opportunities to ski and snowboard.

Despite the challenges with low snowfall, Ski Santa Fe is determined to make the best of the season and provide a fun and enjoyable experience for all its visitors.
