UNM-Los Alamos (UNM-LA) is offering a variety of certificate programs to the community, including Python Programming, Broadband-5G, IT and Cybersecurity, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), and Early Childhood Education (ECE). Scholarships are available for a limited time for all certificates.
The Python Programming Certificate is a 12-week online program, while the Broadband-5G Certificate program starts in spring 2025. The IT and Cybersecurity Certificate programs offer courses in network design, troubleshooting, and cybersecurity.
The ECE Certificate program, developed in partnership with Bilingual Montessori in Los Alamos, is free for community members for a limited time. The program provides teacher educators with the tools and experience to develop school programs.
Those interested in becoming an EMT can join UNM-LA’s program, which prepares students for careers in emergency response and healthcare.
