The New Mexico Department of Transportation is once again holding its “Name a Snowplow Contest” for a second year. The rules for the contest include submitting one name limited to 20 characters, with no vulgar, profane, or politically inspired language allowed. Last year’s winning names such as Sleetwood Mac and Better Call Salt are ineligible for this year’s contest. Participants can enter by visiting the designated link. The contest is meant to be fun and nonpartisan. The National Hispanic Cultural Center also recently lit up its ‘luminito’ for the holiday season.
