The New Mexico Sports Hall of Fame recently announced two new inductees for their 2024 Hall of Fame Class: former New Mexico State Aggies Fredd Young and Randy Brown. Young, a standout football player, had an impressive career with NMSU, the NFL, Seattle Seahawks, and Indianapolis Colts. He was recognized with various awards and honors throughout his career and expressed gratitude for the recognition. On the other hand, Brown made a name for himself in basketball during his time at NMSU and went on to play in the NBA with the Sacramento Kings and later enjoyed championship success with the Chicago Bulls. The induction ceremony for the new inductees will take place on June 29, 2025, at the Albuquerque Convention Center. The New Mexico Sports Hall of Fame will host a press conference on December 28, 2024, to welcome the new members. For more information, visit www.NMSHOF.org.
