The New Mexico State Women’s Basketball team dominated the Eastern New Mexico Greyhounds in a Friday afternoon matchup, securing an 80-46 victory. Molly Kaiser led the Aggies with 20 points and a strong performance on both ends of the court. Tylie Jones and Jaila Harding also contributed to the win with double-digit scoring performances.
The Greyhounds were led by Nataya Lockett, who was the only player to score in double figures for the visitors. Despite a late surge, the Greyhounds were unable to catch up to the Aggies.
The win extends the Aggies’ home winning streak to four games and sets them up for a matchup against No. 10 Oklahoma Sooners. Following this game, NM State will begin conference play against Sam Houston.
Key performances included career highs for Noah Garcia and Madi Gewirtz, as well as strong showings from Tylie Jones and Molly Kaiser. The Aggies’ strong defense limited turnovers and free throws for their opponents, showcasing their dominance on both ends of the court.
