FORCE Technology Norway AS and AOS Offshore collaborate to provide inspection services in Australia

FORCE Technology, a leading provider of structural monitoring, subsea inspection, and cathodic protection services, has partnered with Asia Offshore Solutions (AOS) to enhance access to these solutions in the Australian offshore industry. In a strategic agreement signed in November 2024, AOS will offer FORCE Technology’s pipeline integrity management services, including Advanced Non-Destructive Testing (ANDT) solutions, to help operators assess the integrity of critical subsea assets.

Additionally, AOS will leverage FORCE Technology’s FiGS® (Field Gradient Sensor) technology to provide cathodic protection monitoring services, allowing for the early detection of corrosion in subsea structures. With FORCE Technology’s experience from energy projects in Europe and America, the partnership aims to address the challenges faced in the APAC region, where aging infrastructure and harsh environmental conditions require advanced solutions.

Thomas Saetre, AOS Offshore Business Development Manager, highlighted the benefits of this technology in improving survey efficiency and data accuracy for clients. By introducing these innovative solutions, the partnership aims to meet the growing demand for advanced subsea inspection services in the APAC region and deliver tailored solutions to clients in Australia.

Jarle Zetterstrøm, Sales Manager at FORCE Technology, emphasized the importance of partnerships like this one in expanding their reach and delivering exceptional service to local markets. Skule Edvard Smørgrav, Vice President at FORCE Technology, expressed excitement about developing their presence in Australia with AOS and providing customers with easily accessible and cost-effective advanced inspection data. This collaboration is expected to enhance project outcomes and overall asset integrity in the Australian offshore industry.
