A man was killed by his three dogs at Mesa Viking Park in San Diego on Friday, with another person injured in the attack. The owner’s identity has not been released. The three dogs were euthanized the following day. One victim is recovering in the hospital. Security footage shows the owner walking the dogs towards the park before the attack. Witnesses reported seeing the man with his dogs before the incident. Police and the Humane Society officers put two of the dogs in bite quarantine, while the third was found in a locked vehicle. All three dogs will be tested for rabies. The community of Mira Mesa where the incident took place is a postwar bedroom community near the Marine Corps Air Station Miramar. The Humane Society is working with law enforcement to conduct a thorough review of the incident.
