NM State Softball gears up for exciting 2025 season
LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The NM State Softball team is preparing for an action-packed spring 2025 season after a successful 30-win campaign in 2024. The schedule includes a 52-game slate starting on Feb. 7, with the team aiming to advance to their first NCAA Regional since 2018. The Aggies will face tough competition, including teams like national runner-up Texas and Women’s College World Series participant Florida.
The season kicks off with two home weekends, hosting Nebraska, Northern Colorado, and more. The team will then travel for tournaments in Arizona and Texas before opening conference play against LA Tech. Key matchups include the Battle of I-25 against the rival Lobos and a series against former players now with UTEP.
