New Mexico United is excited to announce the return of midfielder Zico Bailey for the 2025 USL Championship season. Bailey, who joined the club in 2023, played a key role in the team’s midfield in 2024, logging over 2,200 minutes and showcasing his technical skills and leadership on the field. In his time with United, Bailey has made 46 appearances, scoring three goals and providing three assists, including two crucial goals in a 4-2 victory over Real Salt Lake in the 2024 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.
Bailey’s exceptional passing accuracy of 85.6% and defensive contributions, with high tackle and tackle success rates, were instrumental to United’s success in 2024. His presence in the midfield helped the team transition smoothly from defense to attack. Fans can look forward to seeing Bailey continue to make an impact on the pitch in the upcoming season.
