Six male celebrities including Anthony Anderson, Taye Diggs, NFL’s Chris Jones, Tyler Posey, Bruno Tonioli and James Van Der Beek are set to bare all for a good cause in a two-hour special called “The Real Full Monty.” Inspired by the 1997 film “The Full Monty,” the celebrities will strip down to raise awareness for prostate, testicular and colorectal cancer testing and research. The event will air on Fox on December 9 at 8 p.m. ET.
The stars will receive training and rehearsals by award-winning choreographer Mandy Moore to prepare for a live striptease in front of a studio audience. Along the way, they will share personal stories of how cancer has impacted their lives and form a bond as they step outside their comfort zones.
The special is part of a global trend that has seen similar events in France, Australia, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands. Fox has partnered with nonprofits to continue spreading awareness for cancer prevention and research.
Viewers can catch “The Real Full Monty” on various platforms including Fubo, DIRECTV Stream, Sling, and Hulu starting on December 10. With offers like $30 off the first month of Fubo, a 7-day free trial for Hulu, and special deals for students, there are multiple ways to tune in and support this unique and important cause. Don’t miss this one-of-a-kind event that promises to be both entertaining and impactful.
