A fast-moving storm system is expected to bring light snow to parts of New Mexico on Monday, with the best chance for snow in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Only up to 3 inches of snow is expected, with a possibility of flurries or a dusting of snow in the I-25 corridor. Temperatures will be colder on Tuesday as drier air moves in, with the coldest air of the season expected on Wednesday morning. However, a warming trend will begin on Wednesday afternoon, bringing temperatures back to around average for this time of year by next Thursday.
