NM State Volleyball Adds Local Star Jaelynn Kohli from Eastlake HS
LAS CRUCES, N.M. – NM State Volleyball has made a key addition for the future with the signing of Jaelynn Kohli from Eastlake High School in El Paso. The 6-foot-3 outside hitter will graduate early and join the team in the spring of 2025 after a standout senior campaign.
Kohli led her team to the UIL 6A Division I Texas Regional Semifinals for the first time, finishing the season with impressive stats including 564 kills, a hitting percentage of .365, and 53 total blocks. She will join NM State to replenish the roster after six graduating seniors depart, following in the footsteps of Analyssa Acosta, another Eastlake alum who played under Coach Mike Jordan and advanced to two NCAA Tournaments.
Coach Jordan praised Kohli’s skills, calling her a versatile attacker with competitive drive, while Kohli herself expressed excitement about joining the team and working with Coach Jordan. Recruited for her length, arm speed, and strong attacking ability, Kohli is expected to make a significant impact on the program.
Fans can follow NM State Volleyball on social media for updates and news on the team’s progress. Kohli’s addition adds depth and talent to the roster, setting the stage for an exciting future for NM State Volleyball.
