This acquisition will enhance Peak Technology’s range of products and services, allowing them to provide a comprehensive suite of Additive Manufacturing (AM) services in CY25.
Type A Machines, known for their large build volume 3D printers such as the “Series 1” model and multi-unit “Printer Pod,” offers professional-grade quality and material compatibility with a wide range of materials. With a focus on high throughput and production linearity, their 3D printers have also gained popularity within the maker movement.
Led by Founder and CEO Sharon Woo, Peak Technology specializes in producing components and assemblies from highly engineered plastics and technical materials. The company provides services such as Materials Science & Selection, Design For Manufacturing (DFM) & Design for Additive Manufacturing (DFAM), and Additive & Subtractive Component Manufacturing to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
