A month after Donald Trump danced at a political rally, his moves have now made their way to sporting events across the country. After two people fainted at a rally in Pennsylvania, Trump started dancing and continued for roughly 40 minutes. The dancing was initially seen as a spontaneous moment in the lead-up to the election, but has now become a trend in sports events. San Francisco 49ers player Nick Bosa celebrated a sack with a dance inspired by Trump, saying it was his teammates’ idea. This is not the first time Bosa has mentioned Trump on the field; he was previously fined for wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat. UFC champion Jon Jones also mimicked Trump’s dance moves after a fight, with Trump present at the event. Additionally, NFL players like Za’Darius Smith, Brock Bowers, and Calvin Ridley have been seen celebrating big plays with arm movements that seem to be a tribute to Trump. The dance moves originally seen in the political world have now transcended into the world of sports, with athletes taking inspiration from Trump’s dancing at rallies.
