Hilary Hageman, the executive vice president, general counsel, and corporate secretary at SAIC, has had a diverse and globally influenced career trajectory. Growing up in various countries due to her father’s work with the Peace Corps and her family’s frequent relocations, Hageman developed a deep appreciation for diversity and cross-cultural experiences. This background greatly informed her leadership style and perspective, leading her to excel in roles in law, technology, and government.
After graduating with a degree in history from Vassar College and obtaining a law degree, Hageman worked in senior legal positions at the Department of Defense before transitioning to the private sector. Over the years, she gained expertise in cybersecurity, space-based technologies, export compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance. She eventually returned to SAIC, where she currently oversees legal operations, internal audit, ethics, risk management, and quality assurance activities.
