Press Release: New Mexico Ski Swap Set to Kick Off the Ski Season in Style
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — As the ski season approaches, outdoor enthusiasts have a fantastic opportunity to gear up or upgrade at the annual New Mexico Ski Swap, set for this weekend. This highly-anticipated event is the largest fundraiser for the Sandia Peak Ski Patrol, a nonprofit committed to ensuring safety and providing emergency medical care at the Sandia Peak ski area.
The Ski Swap offers a vast selection of ski and snowboard equipment, perfect for both newcomers and seasoned skiers looking for great deals. The festivities begin with a VIP presale on Friday evening from 7-10 p.m. Admission to the presale is $20 per person, with complimentary access for children aged 12 and under accompanied by a paying adult.
Following the presale, the public sale kicks off on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and continues on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will also be a designated gear check-in available on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. for those looking to sell their equipment. Participants can retrieve any unsold items during the public check/gear pick-up on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This event not only allows skiing enthusiasts to find high-quality equipment at reasonable prices but also supports a good cause crucial for the safety of skiers at Sandia Peak.
