Several people were killed in a helicopter crash in Houston on Sunday night when the aircraft struck a radio tower and sparked a large fire. Police Chief J. Noe Diaz confirmed that four individuals, including a child, were on board the private helicopter at the time of the crash. The Houston Fire Department responded to the scene, where the blaze spread over three blocks before being extinguished. Fortunately, no injuries were reported on the ground. The helicopter involved in the crash was identified as a Robinson R44. The names of the victims have not been released. The National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration will conduct an investigation into the cause of the crash.
