The Albuquerque Journal has released their latest rankings for high school football teams in New Mexico as of September 30th. The rankings provide a valuable insight into the current standing of teams across the state.

Ruidoso High School retained their top position in the 3A division, with Clayton High School coming in second. Eunice, Capitan, and Tularosa also earned spots in the top five.
Finally, in the 2A division, Estancia High School claimed the number one ranking, with Eunice High School in second place. Fort Sumner, Escalante, and Jal High School also made the top five.
