Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love suffered a lower leg injury in the final moments of a game against the Philadelphia Eagles in São Paulo, Brazil. Love was hit by two Eagles defenders while attempting a pass and had to be helped off the field. Backup quarterback Malik Willis replaced Love for the final two plays of the game. Love had a solid game, throwing for 260 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception before the injury. Packers coach Matt LaFleur was unsure of the severity of Love’s injury after the game. Love signed a lucrative contract in July to remain with the Packers through the 2028 season. Last season was Love’s first full season as a starter, where he performed well and led the team to the postseason. This injury is a developing story, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
