The Paralympics 2024 has seen some key events unfolding, including Florian Jouanny of France winning gold in the men’s H1-2 road race. Sergio Garrote Munoz of Spain took silver and Luca Mazzone of Italy won bronze. Daniel Romanchuk of the USA finished second in the same race. Oliva Breen of GB finished fourth in the women’s T38 long jump. In the women’s T38 long jump, Luka Ekler of Hungary won gold, Nele Moos of Germany took silver, and Karen Moreno of Colombia won bronze.

Notable performances also included Maria Pomazan of Ukraine winning gold in the women’s F35 shot put, with Wang Jun of China taking silver and Anna Nicholson of GB winning bronze. Alfie Hewett, the world number one, played in the semis of the men’s wheelchair tennis against Martin de la Puente of Spain. Nathan Maguire of GB qualified for the final of the men’s T54 800m. A number of other events and competitions, including track and field, are ongoing.
