Burglary suspect, who sobbed in viral video upon judge’s recognition from school, returns to jail.

Arthur Nathaniel Booth, a burglary suspect who gained viral attention in 2015 for breaking down in court when recognized by a judge from middle school, is back in jail for a series of crimes in Miami. He is accused of pretending to be a water inspector and a plumber to gain entry to victims’ homes, stealing jewelry and chains. One victim, an elderly man, had his gold chain snatched during a fake plumbing visit. Booth is suspected in other incidents as well. He was previously encouraged by the judge who recognized him from middle school to change his ways, but the recent crimes resulted in charges of robbery, burglary, home invasion, and robbery without a weapon. The judge expressed disappointment at Booth’s current situation, hoping he can turn his life around and lead a lawful path. Booth’s attorney information is not available.
